sweater, by corpus; creme pant, american apparel;
Let's be honest, if I could dress up everyday in heels and all the fancy clothes I dream of I would. But I have a real job, something that I've noticed lately is kind of rare within the blogging realm. I'm a real person with real problems like bills, I have a real demanding job at a dynamic company doing a zillion things a day, I don't wear make up everyday, and prefer flats to heels. I think it's important not to take yourself so seriously. So on cold days like this, I wear whatever is clean and sort of matches. This sweater/blanket/scarf in one deal is always a top contender for me on lazy days like this.

I totally agree with u of the seemingly absent reality of everyday work attire in the blogosphere..

I identify with you! I also have to choose more comfortable clothes and flat shoes for my day by day work.
I love the sweater!!!
Best,
you've refreshed me! blogging about outfits should not be one's only body of work or source of income. but then again, your job at AA sounds more fun than most. :)
It looks very cold... but you look super cosy!

This is so strange - I was scrolling through your blog posts when I came to this one and realized that not only do I have that exact same sweater in the same color, but I'm also wearing it right now!
I'm with you 100% on the comfortable clothes for "real" life things. And as I'm writing this I'm at my desk working with no makeup on, my hair in a ponytail, and THE sweater...
...and it's cozy as hell.

i can totally agree with you on this post!
I seriously feel like my thoughts just dropped out into your blog. Why does it seem like no one does anything in the outfits they post? I love flats and pants and a sweater. This is perfect!
count me in as a blogger who has an actual job (which I love)
comfort is definitely paramount, particularly walking to and from a train station everyday.
I hear you! Ugh, even trying to take outfit photos (of probably an oversized sweater) before work is difficult! How do people have enough hours in the day to do it all? Where does the money come from? And most importantly to me, how are the comfortable!
nice work, live it out photo!
ridiculously gorgeous lighting and sweater. love love love the waffle texture
