newton and my stripes

Two of my favorite things: Sir Isaac Newton, and one of three striped fisherman sweaters I designed at American Apparel. I can't believe how lucky I am sometimes, I am thankful everyday I am surrounded by the best people and I get to do what I love. People often think success is measured by dollar amounts. Especially within the art/fashion/blog realm I've come across countless people, all the same with interchangeable faces who consider themselves successful because they've been able to fool others into thinking they're 'cool', 'famous', and 'rich'. It's really more about being able to wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and see a person who you truly like and to be honestly excited to be who you are.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Exactly why I like you and your blog. It's not about selling out for per-click banner ads. It's about showcasing what you like and the creative process! So jealous. Wish I could work for AA too.
