If you would like to not freeze in 33° weather, wear everything opposite of what I wore the other day. This is my failed attempt to stay warm, foolish. Despite the bone-chilling temperature, I had a great time in NY this past weekend, it was a pleasure to meet and catch up with my blogging compadres. I missed a couple shows I was excited to go to due to over sleeping and simply not knowing what to put on that will shield me from the cold, and didn't get to do as much as I planned, but I guess it's not the worst thing. Gotta say though, the best thing about that city (the only thing I can't complain about, I complained a lot!) is the food. Every meal I had was spot on perfect, a tip of my bow head band to you chefs.

That bow blouse reminds me of a tag cloud but with BOWS! Sooo cute. And I don't know how you did it, but whenever I go to New York in the winter, I have about 10 layers to keep the windchill factor to a minimum. I vowed never to return to New York in the winter after almost slipping on black slush way too many times, but for Fashion Week, I will make an exception.

eeek yeah, in these temperatures you usually need three layers underneath a heavy coat to be comfortable/even then i'm always teeth-chatteringly-cold. hey but your survived! love the heels.

gorgeous outfit though :) last time i was in new york in winter i actually froze to death. even in the ugliest puffa jacket that i finally succumbed to wearing.. i was STILL freezing. its so hard to just throw all fashion to the wind and wear thigh high ugg boots and a caterpillar coat hahaha xxx

This is a very classy look for you, not foolish. After awhile you get use to the temperature and you would have no problem wearing an outfit like this.
