dress, vintage; shoes, gojane.com:
This whole past week I have been binging on vintage! Almost everyday of this week I went to a different vintage/thrift store and bought stuff. Now I have a plethora of sweet vintage dresses everything from crushed velvet, see through lace, boyfriend jeans, cut out back gowns, beaded goodness, and amazing leather pieces. the good thing is, it was all EXTREMELY inexpensive. This dress is one of the bunch, it was floor length so i did a botched cutting job. As soon as I figure out how to thread a freakin bobbin, I will fix the hem.
In other news, the fire was kind of scary! we did get evacuated and all of that, but thankfully no one or house that i know was hurt.

Lucky, the only dresses I find at my thrift stores are what you'd see on the 40+ conservative, religious moms. haha
Your hair color looks great in these photos.
I agree with adiel; I can never find any decent dresses at thrift stores. I went to Goodwill recently & was so depressed that everything was oversized & gross. Sigh.
& I'm glad you were safe amongst the fires. I was actually thinking about you this weekend, because I know you're fairly close to where the burning was.
Sounds like my week! I got a bunch of vintage dresses...it makes f21, ect. seem cheapy huh?
Love the look!!
Tart

Lovely love, you look stunning in these. I can't get enough of gold on black, that detailing is gorgeous! Hot hot mama.
I'm glad you're okay, that's about how scary it was for us over here when the Sierras were on fire this summer. Two months of smoke, blech!
xoxo
Great dress. It wouldn't be expensive to get the hem professionally finished.
i always forget how to thread the bobbin. but, i think i've got it down pat now. i pretty much remember how to do it. i think. haha.
glad you and your loved ones are ok.
