Someone is grossly obsessed with clear shoes *ahem*. Clear accessories in general actually. What can I do, as my coworker Martine says, "I like what I like". I've spent the past few days buried in my room watching an endless marathon of Skins episodes. Hannah Murray as Cassie is the cutest thing ever, how the heck have I not seen her/this show before?!

I've become a big fan of long flowy dresses, as long as they're the right length for me so i don't end up looking shrimpy and small. They're also the easiest to just throw on if you're lazy like me and don't feel like coordinating an entire outfit on a hot day. Picked up this tacky print wonder while out shopping on a sister-sister date with Aimee a couple weeks ago.

It's almost 5:45am and I'm up watching a marathon of golden girls on tv. Hands down one of my favorite shows of all time!

Prelude

I always find myself wearing a specific color palette for weeks at a time. The past couple weeks I've been wearing a lot of earthy tones/navy/forest greens. A prelude to fall of sorts. I love these super comfortable karate style pants i found on yesstyle for super cheap, it's a little scary because I could really get used to it. Next thing I know I might be wearing sweats out and about. One of my best friends took a holiday in Turkey this summer and she brought me back these cute/scary dead bird earrings. Thanks Lena! It's been a few years since I've worn dangly earrings it feels kinda weird, but these are so much fun to wear.

it's been a hectic past week for me filled with really long work days. I had the pleasure to shoot with Denni of thechicmuse, who is the sweetest girl around and i'm a little bummed she was here for only a short time. I also spent saturday out in the desert, one of my favorite places, doing absolutely nothing but soaking up the heatwaves.

I own a lot of bathing suits, but I have to say this one is my favorite one. I can't resist the little mice! So glad it's finally getting nice and hot in LA. This cardigan has become my default sweater to throw on for light coverage, I really love the open knit on it. Although yesstyle can be an overwhelming store to shop in, after digging for a little bit I end up finding at least 5 things I want to buy this cardigan being one of them. I'm starting to develop somewhat of a tan, by that I mean I'm only one shade less pale than before. it's a long process for my skin!

Given my many years working in the golf industry, I've developed a special appreciation for all things country club related. I found this polo at one of my favorite little vintage shops in LA. Sometimes all I want to do is dress like an old lady golfer/tourist, this outfit being a prime example. Paired it with these super cheeky new shorts from AA which have become a staple in my closet. Wore this when I spent a couple short days in NY earlier this month and had an amazingly nice time. The city is absolutely gorgeous this time of year, I don't mind the monsoon rain & heat at all. Spent the weekend with some girlfriends in blistering hot palm springs, had an amazing time just being a lazy girl by the pool. Got a chance to wear this chloe-ss09-esque dress. Blushy pink is definitely one of my favorite colors to wear.

I wore this outfit and variations of it everyday in the past week, quick and easy. I'm always on the hunt for bags from this amazing collectio, so far I've been able to find 4, but there are a couple more I'm still coveting! I clearly remembering finding this jewel back in 2002 tucked away under a bunch of other crap at a loehmann's and feeling like i won the lotto. Oh, and please meet my favorite new summertime heel. My favorite new dress, golfing & tennis playing ladies printed all over it of course. Wore it to spend a nice afternoon with my bf driving around window shopping for our favorite houses.
